Perseverance

God’s statement:

A trouper means "a person who deals with and persists through difficulty or hardship without complaint."¹⁵ We have to go past our fear of suffering (not wanting to feel pain or cause pain to others) and move forward in trust that God is true. We don’t stop believing in God whenever we feel that our well-being and the well-being of those we love is being threatened or compromised.

To explain what this feels like, God gave me the lyrics to the song: “Through the fire”, by Chaka Khan:

Through the fire,to the limit, to the wall,
For a chance to be with you, I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire, through whatever, come what may

Obedience

God’s statement:

Meaning: an obedient faith is:

1. Unquestioning: (there’s no doubt about it). Unquestioning means being without doubt or reserve; "implicit trust"¹⁶.

2. Compliant: (You know I AM always right)

   God’s statement:

   You do not question My authority. You are humble before Me.

   “You obey God for He is God.” This was Saint Thomas’. The Apostle, message to me. This is what it means to have a compliant faith.

3. Passionate (What is there not to love?) You love God to pieces. There is nothing about God that you don’t love. We demonstrate our love by obeying Him. This is why Jesus said: “If you love Me, you will abide in Me.”

Generosity

God’s statement:

God gave me the Song of St. Francis¹⁷ to describe what a generous faith is:

Make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me bring your love.
Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord
And where there's doubt, true faith in you.

Chorus: Oh, Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
